Blockchain C++ Developer DAO


The Guap Foundation is actively seeking a Blockchain C++ developer to help implement Decentralized Autonomous Organization voting (DAO) which is a  key feature outlined within our roadmap and phase 2 project proposal deliverables.  Join our developer team and get hands on experience building a cryptocurrency blockchain. This role requires deep knowledge and expertise in developing and compiling C++ source code from GitLab and GitHub repos. Basic Linux and Windows experience required as well. No travel is expected, 100 percent remote work


  • C++ Development: 2-3 years
  • Associates or Bachelor’s preferred but not required

Full Job Description

The Guap Foundation has an opportunity for a Senior C++ Developer to support key areas of our blockchain product development lifecycle. The role requires moderate expertise in developing blockchain systems by analyzing and improving source code. No travel is expected. The position also allows work from home. Must be a US Citizen.


  • C++ coding
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Participate in object oriented design
  • Analyze and maintain existing software applications
  • Design highly scalable, testable code
  • Discover and fix programming bugs
  • Compile and debug Git source code
  • Blockchain development (Bitcoin related source code)
  • Installation and functional testing of  cryptocurrency desktop and mobile wallets
  • Windows 10, MacOsx, Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 or higher)
  • Experience using GitLab, CI/CD Pipeline
  • Build and administer masternodes using VPS via cloud hosting
  • Perform Basic networking configuration of Ipv4 and IPv6 via virtual cloud hosting
  • General maintenance of existing code and environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Object-oriented C++ development experience
  • Experience developing multi-threaded, multi-process systems
  • Experience with Agile development processes (SCRUM)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • US Citizen

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Developing cross-platform systems for Windows, Linux, and Mac
  • Encryption for communications and data-at-rest.
  • Experience with network communications down to socket level
  • Experience with Qt development environment
  • Basic experience with Git, Jira, Visual Studio, Gcc/G++
